HTI Materials – Shipping Policy

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation, unless otherwise stated.

Processing time may vary depending on:

Product availability
Order volume
Custom or special-order items
Weather or carrier delays

Customers will receive shipment confirmation and tracking information once the order has shipped.

Shipping Methods & Carriers

HTI Materials ships products using reputable freight and parcel carriers selected based on product size, weight, and destination. Carrier selection is determined at HTI Materials’ discretion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Due to the size and weight of downhole rod pump components, shipments may be delivered via:

LTL Freight (Less-Than-Truckload)
Full Truckload Freight
Flatbed Truck Delivery (for oversized or extended-length components)
Parcel carriers for smaller components

Flatbed shipments may require customer coordination for safe loading and unloading.

Freight Terms & Risk of Loss

All shipments are made FOB Shipping Point unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the shipment is delivered to the carrier.

HTI Materials is not responsible for:

Carrier delays
Transit damage
Lost shipments after transfer to the carrier
Weather, labor disruptions, or force majeure events

Shipping Charges

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or quoted separately depending on shipment size, weight, method, and destination.

Shipping charges are:

Non-refundable
Based on carrier rates, packaging, handling, fuel surcharges, and equipment requirements

Additional freight charges may apply for:

Expedited shipping requests
Residential deliveries
Liftgate service
Limited access delivery locations
Flatbed equipment or special handling requirements
Re-delivery attempts

Delivery & Inspection Requirements

Customers must inspect shipments immediately upon delivery.

If visible damage is present, customers must:

Note damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt
Take photographs of packaging and product
Notify HTI Materials in writing within 10 calendar days of delivery

Failure to document damage at delivery may result in denial of freight claims.

Delivery Delays

Delivery dates are estimates only. HTI Materials is not liable for delays caused by carriers or external factors beyond our control.

International Shipping

International shipping may be available upon request. Customers are responsible for:

Import duties
Taxes
Customs clearance fees
Regulatory compliance

HTI Materials is not responsible for customs delays or import restrictions.

Partial Shipments

HTI Materials reserves the right to ship orders in multiple shipments when necessary due to product availability or logistics.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. HTI Materials is not liable for delivery delays, loss, or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Shipment Refusal or Failed Delivery

If a shipment is refused or cannot be delivered due to customer circumstances:

Customer is responsible for all return freight charges
Restocking fees may apply in accordance with our Return Policy

Special Handling & Flatbed Delivery Requirements

Due to the precision, length, and handling requirements of rod pump barrels and related components:

Customers are responsible for providing proper receiving equipment, including forklifts, cranes, or other unloading equipment when required
Flatbed deliveries may require customer personnel to safely unload materials
HTI Materials and its carriers are not responsible for damage caused during unloading or post-delivery handling
Delays or additional charges resulting from lack of unloading capability will be the responsibility of the customer
